Training ONTOLOGY OF DOGS AND CATS
Day One
1. Anatomy of the dog and cat ear (differences in structure)
2. Diseases affecting the ear flaps, auditory canals, and middle ear
3. Acute otitis externa (primary and secondary causes, predisposing and perpetuating factors), therapy and treatment protocols
4. Chronic otitis externa – therapy and treatment protocols
5. Otitis media – most common causes, diagnostics, therapy
6. Otological examination (how an otoscopic exam should be conducted, properly conducted history-taking, and assessment of cytological samples).
7. Additional tests in ear diseases: cytology, bacteriology, mycology
8. Imaging studies in ear diseases: CT or MRI, which study to choose?
Day Two
9. Practical exercises: appropriate equipment necessary for the visit, techniques for conducting otoscopic examinations, techniques for collecting samples for cytological and bacteriological tests, staining samples and evaluating them.
10. Joint examination of microscopic samples

Graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław
in 2008. Since then, in addition to clinical work, she has systematically improved her qualifications by participating in numerous veterinary training courses and congresses. From the very beginning of her career, she has paid particular attention to Otology in dogs and cats.
Since May 2015, she has been the owner of the Leśnica Veterinary Center.
On December 3, 2016, after three years of specialization studies, she passed the exam obtaining the title of Specialist in Diseases of Dogs and Cats.
Over the course of 18 years, she has attended numerous courses in dermatology, cytology, and clinical pathology. However, her main area of interest in dermatology is Otology.
Every otological patient is examined from A to Z (otoscopy, endoscopy, cytology, thorough history-taking, interpretation of results (if necessary, additional tests, cultures, MRI, or CT).
The doctor's specialties, aside from treating very difficult otological cases, include endoscopic procedures (myringotomy, removal of foreign bodies from the ear and tympanic cavity, removal of adenomas, cystomatosis, endoscopic washing of auditory canals from waxy or purulent inflammatory states, washing of tympanic cavities, as well as endoscopic polypectomy).
She also performs surgical procedures related to auditory canals.
For endoscopic procedures, she uses the latest Storz Otological Endoscope and a diode laser.
She currently only accepts otological cases of dogs and cats from Wrocław and other cities in Poland.
Veterinarians from all over Poland visit her for otological internships, during which they can see numerous cases and endoscopic procedures in dogs and cats.
Together with training companies, she has started a series of trainings in clinical otology.
In June 2025, she began the expansion of the clinic with a new Veterinary Office in Leśnica focusing on Otology of Dogs and Cats. The office will open in September.
